*Note that evil spirits often have specific functions and names. I am covered and protected by the blood of Jesus Christ. Leave me now and go straight to Jesus Christ who will deal with you. In the name of Jesus Christ, I speak to any evil spirits, especially spirits of * _, _, _, (fill in the blanks), I bind you from attacking me now and throughout this day. I thank you for bestowing upon Him all power and authority over evil. “Father, I thank you for sending your Son Jesus to die for me, and resurrecting him to sit at your right hand in Heaven right now. Father, I ask that your will be done in this situation, as it is done in heaven. God’s word says that God has plans for good and not evil (Jeremiah 29:11) for us and I claim those plans now. I cancel the enemy’s plans and call forth God’s plans for this situation. In the name of Jesus Christ, I bind every evil spirit and every evil plan made in this situation. “Father in heaven, I stand in faith on the authority I have as a believer in Jesus Christ, and a co-heir to his kingdom. Then, we call forth God’s will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. First we bind the plans of evil in the situation we are facing in the name of Jesus Christ. This is based on the Lord’s prayer in Matthew 6:10. “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” (Luke 10:19)īinding the enemy’s plans loosing God’s plans “Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” (Matthew 18:18) “And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” (Matthew 16:19) Everything that we loose or bind must be in accordance with God’s word. Similarly, when we loose something on earth, we “permit and declare proper and lawful on earth” based on the scriptures.
Our faith in God’s word releases the power from heaven that binds (or ties up) the evil we are facing. Because we stand as co-heirs in Jesus Christ, we have his authority to execute this judgment on the forces of evil. When we bind something, we declare it unlawful (or evil) based on God’s word. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” (Matthew 18:18-19) Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. Jesus said: “Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
We still do, but to bind them will stop them from acting temporarily for some reason so they can afterwards be cast out. When we bind spirits – or demons – that does not mean we don’t need to cast them out. Similarly, when we loose something on earth, we “permit and declare it proper and lawful on earth” based on the scriptures. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, As we stand as co-heirs in Jesus Christ, we have his authority to execute this judgment on the forces of evil. After that, we can loose, or call forth God’s plans for restoration. When we bind something, we declare it unlawful (or evil) based on God’s word. When we are facing an evil stronghold in life, we must first use our inherited authority as children of God to bind the evil forces involved. “Or else how can one enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house.” (Matthew 12:29) He explained that we must first bind the strongman before we can plunder his house. Jesus commented on the need for binding evil. If you have put your faith in Jesus Christ, you have his power and authority to bind evil and loose God’s plans in any situation.
